I'm tired of caps but pretend the rest of the entry is in caps, okay? The movie is being released in the UK on July 25th but the website says that the US release date is "TBD". TBD?!?!??!?! At 9 or 10, after everyone else had left, we saw a random fireworks display coming from Arlington or Alexandria. We think someone proposed to their girlfriend or something. I mean, why would there be fireworks on a Wednesday evening in the ides of July? Weird.

Today I had to hand deliver letters to a bunch of places all over DC. This included Dick Cheney's wife and the Independent Womens Forum (an anti feminist group). Oh my God it's like working for Voldemort. It's awesome. In the elevator on the way up to the IWF room, I was like "Wait a minute, this sounds familiar. OMG IT'S THE ANTI FEMINIST ORG! SICK!" and sure enough there were posters of old covers of their magazine. The most notable one was an illustration of a sad girl sitting on her bed with panties strewn all over her room. The caption said "The Daughters of the Sexual Revolutions -- All they wanted was a corsage." ...LOL

It's okay, I licked the envelopes and I'm sick so maybe they'll all catch a cold.

Everyone around us wasn't stoked, though. Which is retarded because why are you going to insist on being in the front and not letting people through if you're just going to stand there acting bored. The girls behind us yelled at Elena and told her to "stop moving". IT'S A CONCERT.

- Got a pedi and a brazilian with Kailie & Damari yesterday.
Look at this fucking beautiful poster I made for my media graphics final:

We were supposed to make a band gig poster. I chose M83 because they make beautiful music and I wanted to make a beautiful poster. I took that picture of the tree + bench (located in Oregon Hill). This is one of the only times I have ever used my own photography for a design project instead of just using stock photography. The background gradient took forever to line up correctly, too. And if you notice, the bottom is supposed to be sunrise and the top sunset. ANNNNDDDD don't worry, I didn't place all of those stars by hand, I downloaded a handy night sky brush. The type at the top has a nice glow to it (actually a drop shadow but I used to the "vivid light" blend). This has been the only time where the picture in my head is the picture that ends up being the final product.

I am pretty God damn proud of myself.
The car search is on. I'm going to go look at a BMW (for $9000) on Saturday. Hopefully it won't be shitty. Maybe a BMW is too ostentatious. I did go look at a VW Jetta the other day, but it turned out to be a manual. And I'm not trying to learn how to drive stick. It was only $1500, too. Ugh.

I'm trying to see Baby Mama either today or on Sunday.
